In the past, I've bought on the cheap from various battery suppliers as I refurbish laptops for charities as a hobby. Until now, I have universally regretted it, including one supplier whose battery swelled up and became hot and others seemed good at first but always gave a shorter life and quickly reduced in both the power to keep the laptop going and the battery couldn't hold its power when the laptop was not in use. I decided to try Duracell despite the additional cost, but it was worth it. The battery holds power when the Notebook pro stand unused for days on end and then has a very good power in terms of hours available. One day it was in use over 6 hours. Unheard of with my cheaper purchases. The charities and schools abroad that these latops end up with will have a much better start in those places I send them to which have uncertain or intermittent national grid power supplies.
