    I did as instructed about installation and the first charge. It has worked very well since and has certainly had a far better performance than the original battery.

    Early days yet. However have followed advice for charge/discharge of new battery and am getting just over 4.25 hours on battery using all resources of laptop. Based upon initial use I am well pleased. Given that it has a decent warranty well worth the money

    Does the job it's supposed to i.e. replace an original Dell battery. Appreciate the installation notes regarding the temporary misreading from the battery meter. Still alarmed when I drained the battery right down and it wouldn't start recharging immediately. Suggest you don't drain battery down too far before connecting to recharging unit, suspect battery off switch has kicked in to protect the battery.
