Fits like the original. Works like the original. This has more power than original and does seem to last longer. The originals used to last about 3 years but I bought this longer lasting one to use the Toshiba battery saver feature where it doesn't fully charge the battery to extend its life; hopefully it will work OK.

Plugged it into laptop and started charging it, took an hour or two to fully charge then used on battery only for more than four hours. Left in standby for a couple of days and it still has charge when I next turned it back on. It continues to charge up as expected and last about five hours on battery power which is s as good as the original battery. Long may it last. So far very happy with the purchase.
