I bought it to replace the original Lenovo 3-cell battery which was needing frequent recharging. It came in a partially discharge state complete with detailed instructions which cover two phases. The first phase is to condition or run-in the battery, the second phase is ongoing maintenance to prolong the life of the battery. Running-in involves doing three or four complete charges and discharges to make sure that the battery fuel gauge is set correctly. The second phase involves not allowing the battery to discharge completely, ensuring that recharging occurs before complete discharge. To ensure that the battery’s fuel gauge remains correctly calibrated it is recommended that a deliberate full discharge and recharge is performed once every 30 charges. Other than this, the battery must not be allowed to discharge fully.

Surprised when the battery arrived as it was the first replacement battery ever received without the normal metallic foil covering, it had no protective sleeve whatsoever, just naked with foam either side in its cardboard box. At the moment holds a decent charge, hopefully this has some longevity.

Very poor battery for a number of reasons. Firstly the battery life when it arrived was significantly worse than a new Lenovo stock battery. It has since deteriorated to the point that it is worse than the battery it replaced within 5 months. In addition it doesn't fit a T470P very well. It is slightly bigger than the stock battery by less a millimeter but it is enough to make it a struggle to fit. There is a catch that keeps the battery in the case that has never fit well and has broken off making the battery nearly unusable. I would recommend avoiding this brand.
