This was to replace an ageing battery on an eight year old Acer Aspire S3 951. After removing the four securing screws the old battery slid out easily without having to disconnect any other components. The new one slid unto place just as easily. The power connection is a 'plug and socket'. I now have 4 hours capacity again rather than 40 minutes.
