HP 728248-541 Battery

Excellent product. Particularly liked the raised feet that enhances airflow around the laptop.

Followed instructions to condition battery. Now gone from < 3 hours battery life on HP laptop to > 9 hours. Great!

Well pleased with the product. Cant believe how long you can work productively on battery power alone. Would definitely recommend going for the upgraded 8 cell power unit.

Excellent product and pleased I bought the 8 cell pack. It didn't make any different to me, but I hadn't realised the battery would be physically larger and hence protrude once connected. Maybe I missed that in the description. However, for me the slightly raised back position of my laptop is not an issue. If you use a slim line case, this larger battery pack may cause you some difficulty. Other than that, I'm delighted with this more powerful battery.

The battery I chose for my HP laptop was one with an 8 cell configuration which would give me a greater operating time than the original, probably twice as long before the need for recharging. SInce receiving this battery, together with the included advice as to how best to run the initial charging sequence, it has performed very well and with no problems. The quality of the battery is high and the cost was very competitive when compared to the standard 4 cell replacement batteries. So far it has been a very satisfactory replacement and I would buy it again.

Bearing in mind my laptop is about 6 years old the Duracell battery must have been sitting in a (cold?) warehouse these past years - it had 40% charge when I clicked it into place (what a perfect fit..for the HP battery compartment) and switched on. It charged up to 100% with the cable in and then proceeded to give me 5 hours of use on tjat first full charge - maybe even 7. The Duracell if anything holds charge longer (with laptop in standby and lid down) and lasts longer with everthing switched on than compared with when my laptop was brand new! The Duracell replacement battery is BETTER in all respects to an original (still superb) brand new HP battery. Extraordinary. What a relief too; I'm half in mind to buy another backup battery... but I'll probably buy a new laptop instead. But who'd have thought that one's still mega-powerful/formerly top-of-the-range laptop can so reliably, painlessly have its life extended by the miracle of a replacement battery that is utterly dependable.

Arrived promptly, fitted fine and is working perfectly. Only time will tell if it's lifetime is good.

I'm very pleased with this product and my laptop is running like new again. Thank you Duracell Direct. HP may think we should upgrade our PCs ever 3-4 years but in the real world that doesn't happen. And Microsoft can try to insist I replace my laptop with a newer model if I want to use Windows 11 but I'm happy with Windows 10 so won't replace this laptop until I absolutely have to.
