Small and light and very portable. Dedicated to the particular Sony battery NP-BX1, which takes ages to charge in my camera so it's useful to be able to charge a spare. It's great that it comes only with a usb lead and not a mains plug -I already have a boxful of mains chargers and really don't want to pay for any more!

Sony advertise a USB charger that is not much bigger than the battery. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on sale in the UK and this is the best next thing. Pitty that Duracell couldn't have made it smaller though as all this 'stuff' has to pack away somewhere. It works well and comes with a merifully short USB lead.
