Seems almost as good as the Sony original, considering the Vaio laptop is 12 years old. Unlike cheaper makes that I’ve tried, that are supposed to be a higher capacity, this battery provides a longer usage time of around 100 minutes. While this doesn’t seem long it’s quite a small battery for the ‘state of the art’ in processing and graphics. As Windows, from XP to 10, seems to get slower and slower with the same tin it would be nice to have a higher capacity from Duracell - I’d trust there’s to actually deliver.

My 12 year old Sony laptop has a new lease of life thanks to its new battery and fresh install of Windows 10! I am getting 5 hours plus out of new battery. Installation of battery was easy and was identical to the original in shape and fit. Okay I won't be doing any video editing but for web browsing, email and YouTube videos for grandchildren it's ideal. The new battery was money well spent.

The battery was correct in all respects however because my computer failed to start Duracell collected it for testing and found no fault with it, clearly there is a problem with my computer.
