At first I was slightly worried as this battery was fractionally smaller than the original but that is does not affect it's operation. Followed instructions to charge and so far it is working well.

Although the battery was more expensive than from other sites, I chose it due to the Duracell link and it does appear to be giving a significant boost to the laptop's life after the recommended charges. Reply: All our Laptop batteries come with conditioning guidelines. Full capacity will be reached after following these instructions in the first few days after delivery. 3hrs may well be correct based on the device.
