This is the third battery pack I have ordered for an ageing (but good) laptop. The first two were generics ordered via a well known internet auction site, each costing around £30. They both proved a waste of money. In one case the pack started deteriorating after about 4 weeks and was useless after 3 months. The other lasted about 5 months. So far the Duracell supplied item is holding up very well and after the initial few cycles has built up to a 3.5 hour capacity. It was offered with a 12 month guarantee so I have high hopes. Worth the extra money I think.

So far so good but is early days... battery pack loaded to instructions. The Laptop task-bar battery indicator worked accurately after the first discharge and recharge. Appears to have same casing as the original Toshiba but noticed that the cells within are sourced from Samsung (as so is not Japanese origin). But hopefully this replacement battery from Duracell will last longer than the three years the original Toshiba lasted.
